Pour 2 tbsps oil in the pressure cooker or pot
Add the onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies together. Saute till lightly brown and the raw smell is gone.
Add tomatoes and saute well till they're mushy
Add the turmeric powder
Then add in the rest of the broth ingredients- coriander leaves, peppercorns, lemon juice and salt and mix well.
Add the mutton pieces
Pour in now 5 cups of water. Mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles or till mutton is cooked
Separate the mutton pieces from the broth and keep the soup or broth aside.
