This is a poem about a sparrow and a pigeon, two birds, who meet on a window sill and become friends
Little birdie brown, sitting on a window,
Was blissfully nipping on some grains, nice and slow
In flew a pigeon and asked the sparrow small
“May I peck a little, with you, by the wall?”
Hopped little sparrow, and placed the grains beside,
“Eat dearest friend” she cheerfully replied
The pigeon and the sparrow shared more each day
While they sat upon this window to chirp and play
Pleased at the outcome, a lady smiled.
As she left more grains on the window wide.
